11.26.15 Today's blog is going to be a little different since it's Thanksgiving. 1st off I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
I was looking up what to write about and I found the following:
God clearly spelled out His good and perfect will for us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 when He inspired the Apostle Paul to write: "In everything give thanks, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." Did you catch that? In everything. In the good times, as well as the bad. In the pleasantries of life, as well as in the pain. During difficult times, trying times and frustrating times, too.
I got to thinking about how Thanksgiving might be so much more meaningful if I focused on thanking God for the things He rarely hears thanks for. Try this with me this year. Thank Him, not just for the food on the table before you partake, and the "blessings for this past year" but for all the ways He has not performed according to your liking. For all the times He has said "no" and for all the ways He has worked in and through your life, perhaps without you knowing it. Thank Him for all the unresolved issues and the ways you are still waiting for answers. Thank Him—regardless—and see what it does for your soul as you offer Him a heart of obedience and surrender this year. Thank Him—regardless—and see how it moves the others who are around your table. Cindi McMenamin
That is so true we always pray when we need something or want something and then we thank Him for the things He does for us but what about the rest of the times?
1 Chronicles 16:34 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Psalm 69:30 - I will praise the name of God with song, And shall magnify Him with thanksgiving.
Okay what I would like to do is ask that if you are thankful for anything then just leave a comment. I will go 1st: I am thankful I woke up this morning, I am thankful for God giving me my loving husband, my 3 children along with the rest of my family and my job.
God I thank You for allowing me to wake another day and spending time with some family members and a Christian brother that we want to welcome into our home on this Thanksgiving Day. Lord be with my facebook family and friends, keep them safe on this day and know I love You. I ask these things in Jesus Name Amen.

11.25.15 God is real just like the air you breath is real. Who do you think created the air? If God wasn't real we wouldn't be here. He created us, God has always been and always will be. Look @ the miracle of birth and the little baby that was created. What about thunderstorms, sometimes when it thunders it sounds like God may be angry and who could blame Him with all the hatred in the world today. The apostle Paul said creation was the best evidence of God’s existence. He wrote, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen” (Rom. 1:20).
Let me ask you something, "have you ever taken the time to stop and look @ all the beautiful flowers when their in bloom? There are more than 400,000 species of flowers in the world, and most of them are not edible. Their job is to simply make the world beautiful. Did they just haphazardly evolve over time, or did a loving God create each individual shape and color scheme for our enjoyment? People who choose to deny God don’t spend enough time looking at tulips, snapdragons, orchids, lilies, lotuses or magnolias. This is why it’s really important to stop and smell the roses! What about the Bible it's not just a book like any other. Paul wrote that “all Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Tim. 3:16). The Bible itself is proof of God’s existence because He used 40 unrelated people over a period of 2,000 years to write His unique love letter to us. There is nothing like the Bible because it carries the same consistent message throughout all of its 66 different books.
Look what I found while writing this: The global spread of Christianity, Over the centuries, the gospel message has been vilified and ridiculed. Roman rulers threw first-century Christians to the lions, and 20th-century dictators sent believers to prison camps. It is estimated that 70 million Christians have been martyred since the church began—and 40 million of those were in the 20th century. Yet today Christianity has more adherents than any religion, and numbers are growing in many parts of the world. Our faith is spreading because it is the truth—and history shows that when this truth is mocked and scorned, it actually spreads faster!
What about Jesus? He came so that we may live. The most amazing thing about God is not that He exists, but that He loved us so much He was willing to send His Son to earth to save us from ourselves. Jesus was with the Father from the time of creation, and His arrival was predicted numerous times in Old Testament prophecy. Finally He interrupted history and came to live among us. His crucifixion is historical fact, and His resurrection was verified by hundreds of witnesses. The man who perhaps knew Jesus best—the apostle John—saw the risen Christ and touched His nail-pierced hands. He wrote, “What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you” (1 John 1:3). Jesus is not an illusive fairy tale. He is the living, breathing, touchable Son of God.
God is my personal friend, is He your friend? Paul in 2 Timothy 1:12: “I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed.”
God proves to me everyday that He's alive through the way He loves me, how He forgave me, changed me and put un-explainable joy in my heart. If you don't know God then it's not to late, He's waiting for you even @ this hour. God never sleeps He's always watching over His children.
Thank You God for saving my soul. Thank You God for always loving me when I know sometimes I may be unlovable. Thank You God for sending the rain when we need it and letting us see Your glory through Your creation and thank You for being my best friend. Keep watch over my facebook friends and family and know I love You. I ask these things in Jesus Name Amen.
11.24.15 You know sometimes you say what next but you know what things could be worse. If you have your health and wake up each day, then it could get worse. Look @ the people who have cancer or maybe someone who is homeless. Most of the time you don't hear none of them whining about anything. I hear people all the time saying how bad things are, I say open your eyes and take a look @ the world and see what is happening to some of those people. While I was thinking about this blog I found the following:
“It could be worse!”
Just when you think you are doing badly, look around someone is doing worse. When you thought you were hungry because you didn’t eat last night, talk to someone on the street that hasn’t eaten in days and you’ll realize they are doing worse. When you thought you didn’t sleep well on last night, talk to someone who had to sleep on the street and you’ll soon realize they had it worse. When you thought the pain in your body was bad, talk to someone (like my sister) who has a debilitating disease that’s labeled the suicide disease, with no cure, and you’ll realize someone is far worse than you. You think you got a problem because your husband won’t put the toilet seat down, well talk to the woman who just made funeral plans for her husband. You think you got a problem because your wife doesn’t cook the chicken like your momma, well talk to the husband who just found the suicide note left by his wife who was depressed and he couldn’t see it. You think you got problems, talk to the parent who has to bury a child killed by a drunk driver or a stray bullet and all you got is one who won’t clean a room. – Your problems could be worse!
You complain about the church, so you don’t go but then you complain because God doesn’t hear your prayers yet He still allows you to be in your right mind day after day, night after night – your problems could be worse. You complain because God doesn’t bless you like you think you ought to be but you won’t even bless Him by paying your tithes because you got an issue with that too yet He still allows you to go to the job He blessed you with to get a paycheck every pay-day – your problems could be worse. Yea, you could be a tore up mess! You could be a jacked up fool! You could be out of your mind, wandering lost, walking among your people and not know anybody. You could be in a pit of hell right here on earth feeling alone even though you live in a house full of people. You could feel like nobody loves you although you get a hug every morning from somebody. All I’m saying is … your living could be worse! Stop taking your life for granted. Give God EVERYTHING He’s due from us whether it be money, time, praise and worship! Give it to Him! It ain’t ours anyway because everything under the sun belongs to God. Increase everything we give to God and see if He won’t increase His rewards to us.

The Lord doesn't always immediately make things new in our lives. Yet, He does, without fail, sustain us through our tough seasons.
Deuteronomy 8:3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. 4 Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years. 5 Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you.
Deuteronomy 8:4 talks about how the Father took care of the Children of Israel while they were in the wilderness for 40 years. The scripture says, "Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years."
The Israelites didn't go on any shopping sprees, or any brand new sandals dropping out of the sky. However, the Lord made it so the clothes they did have, didn't wear out.
What has God kept from wearing out, tearing up, and falling apart in your life?
Often, we make the mistake of getting so fixated on wanting something different and better that we forget to praise God for holding things together for us right where we are.
God I come to You thinking You for providing things that I need. I see the people who are homeless and they have no where to go, how could we be so selfish God when we have a roof over our head but it's never enough. God I pray for the kids who go to bed hungry every night because the parents are either seperated or drug addicts. How dare we go out to eat and never think twice about that little kid. Lord I know we can't help everyone out there in this world but we do need to stop complaining about what we don't have and praising You for what we do have. Lord please be with my facebook family and friends and know I love You. I ask these things in Jesus Name Amen.
11.22.15 Have you ever felt God's love?
God told Israel in Exile, "I have loved you with an everlasting love;
therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you". (Jeremiah 31:3)
John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever would believe in him would not perish but have everlasting life." Notice it says that God's love gives. The nature of love is to give. It is "other" focused.
In order to experience God's love, we should not look to a feeling but to that which fits the best description of the other-centeredness that God declares in His Word. In Christianity, the greatest example of the experience of God's love is in the person of Jesus Christ who died on the cross for our sins. God loves us so much that He took our place on the cross and died for us. Jesus said in John 15:13 that the greatest act of love is to lay your life down for another. This is exactly what Jesus did for us.
To experience God's love is receive by faith the sacrifice of Christ on the cross on our behalf. By trusting in Jesus, by looking to Jesus alone for the forgiveness of your sins through His death, burial, and resurrection, you can then receive the forgiveness of God and begin to experience His love for you.
1. Whenever I hear the song of a bird
Or look at the blue, blue sky,
Whenever I feel the rain on my face
Or the wind as it rushes by,
Whenever I touch a velvet rose
Or walk by our lilac tree,
I'm glad that I live in this beautiful world
Heav'nly Father created for me.
2. He gave me my eyes that I might see
The color of butterfly wings.
He gave me my ears that I might hear
The magical sound of things.
He gave me my life, my mind, my heart:
I thank him rev'rently
For all his creations, of which I'm a part.
Yes, I know Heav'nly Father loves me.

God’s Love is peaceful as anything you will ever know, and nothing can compare to it.
His love is unfailing No matter who we are or what we have done, His love is always with us and for us.
I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them. John 17:26
His Love is Real
God loves each of us individually, He didn’t need us, He chose us as His own, and created us to love us. One of the greatest proofs of God’s love for us, is that He sends us any kind of afflictions, and then gives us the grace to go through them. If you have ever felt the pure and Holy love of God, you will never be the same.
Love is an action
God’s love towards us is an action. Everything that happens is because of God. He is the source of life, and everything in it. If you aren’t feeling His presence, it is not because of Him, it is because of you. There is only God, His glory and magnificence are everywhere to behold. He is in everything. There is no darkness in Him, only light and love.
So have you ever felt God's love? I have, every time I get up in the morning I feel God loves me.
Lord thank You for loving me each and every day. Thank You for always being there for me when I wasn't deserving. Lord be with my facebook friends and family and if there is 1 out there that doesn't feel Your love, so Your love to them right now God. Know I love You and I ask these things in Jesus Name Amen.
