The Lord's Army

7.18.15 Did you know we are in God's Army?
Cross Map say:
God is looking for a few good men and women.
"I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: 'Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?' Then I said, 'Here am I! Send me.'"- Isaiah 6:8
If you were God, and you wanted to touch the world, how would you go about it?
You could raise up an army of mighty angels, who would gladly do your bidding. Or you could just roll back the heavens and speak audibly to Planet Earth and say something like, "Hello everyone. I'm God and you're not, and I want you to believe in me, now!"
But no, that is not how the Lord has decided to impact our planet. He chooses to use people-and flawed people at that.
When Jesus came to this earth, He chose 12 men: Peter, James, John, Matthew, Andrew, Thomas . . . we know their names well. But do we really know them? It's a good idea to learn what we can about them, because they turned their world upside down.
They didn't have modern technology to help them. No iPhones, iPads, Internet, texting, or e-mailing. They didn't even have fax machines (which once were very high-tech). No MP3s, DVDs, CDs, cassettes, or even 8-tracks. Not even the printed page.
No, Thomas did not tweet, Peter did not have a Facebook page, and Andrew did not Instagram.
It was all done by "word of mouth," person to person. Yet these hand-picked disciples, in a relatively short amount of time, shook the ancient world.
You know what? God is still looking for men and women to shake the world today.
Will you make yourself available?

Becoming a Christian Soldier is only the beginning of an exciting new adventure. Jesus called it being “born again”. It mean that you now have a personal relationship with God as Your heavenly Father. You are never alone. God has sent the Holy Spirit by Jesus' request to help and guide you into all truth, live each day for God, and to accept the changes He wants to make in your life. You can depend on His power to enable you to grow as a Christian Soldier, and to help rescue others from the enemy’s camp.
It is very important that you go through boot camp, and be train and equip for war. You will need to know your rank, how to use your weapons, and learn how to stand firm in your office of faith. To get you started in your basic training.
We should study God's word on our own and go to Church and Sunday School and learn all we can about God so when the enemy comes we will have the tools we need to fight back.

I'm in the Lord's Army

I may never march in the Infantry, (march)
Ride in the cavalry, (pretend you're riding a horse)
Shoot the artillery. (clap hands together)
I may never zoom o'er the enemy,
(spread arms out and pretend to be a plane)
But I'm in the Lord's Army. (point one finger up to God)
I'm in the Lord's Army, (yes, sir!) (salute)
I'm in the Lord's Army, (yes, sir!)
I may never march in the Infantry,
Ride in the cavalry,
Shoot the artillery.
I may never zoom o'er the enemy,
But I'm in the Lord's Army, (yes, sir!)

So I ask you will you join God's Army with me?

God I think you for loving me and making me a part of your Army so that I may have the tools I need to go against the enemy. I think you for equiping others to be teachers and preachers that who are willing to study and bring what you put in their hearts and share with others. God I ask that you be with my facebook family and friends and know that I love you. If there's even 1 of my facebook friends that wants to know how to join your army then let them ask today because we are not promised tomorrow. I ask these things in Jesus Name Amen.
